The BaseLayer mats actually go under the pedal
My 2022 Ford F-150 came with OEM Ford "tray" style floor mats. I liked them, they looked good, and did a good job. However, the OEM mats do not protect under the accelerator pedal - rain water and melting snow drip off your shoe and get under the OEM mat. The BaseLayer mats actually go under the pedal and catch all the moisture, keeping it within the mat.
