Warranty Information

  • Is there a warranty on your products?
    Lifetime Limited Warranty: BaseLayer guarantees to the original purchaser that our products will not break or tear under normal usage. This warranty applies only to those parts that are correctly installed and used in the manner they were intended and only for the original vehicle they were installed in. Registration and proof of purchase are required. Click here for our full warranty information.

    BaseLayer will repair or replace, as it deems appropriate, any part during the warranty period that proves defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation and use. BaseLayer reserves the right to use materials regularly utilized at the time of repair in the event that original materials are no longer available. If replacement of the part is deemed appropriate by our staff, BaseLayer will replace the product with one of the same or most similar style of a value not in excess of the original purchase price of your product. Customer will be responsible for returning the alleged defective product. BaseLayer will be responsible for shipping of the repaired or replacement product to the customer once returned parts are received.

    This warranty is void for damages to the product due to misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, improper installation or any use that violates the instructions. Abnormal wear and tear due to severe abrasive conditions, chemical contamination, such as spilled gasoline, bleach, vehicle accidents, etc. are not covered under this warranty. Commonplace, everyday wear on a product is considered normal, and is not covered under warranty.

    THIS WARRANTY IS EXTENDED TO THE ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASER ONLY AND MAY NOT BE TRANSFERRED OR ASSIGNED TO SUBSEQUENT OWNERS. IN ORDER TO VALIDATE YOUR WARRANTY, AND AS A CONDITION PRECEDENT TO WARRANTY COVERAGE HEREUNDER, YOU MUST RETURN YOUR WARRANTY REGISTRATION CARD OR COMPLETE AN ONLINE REGISTRATION AT BASELAYERLABS.COM WITHIN FIFTEEN (15) DAYS FOLLOWING THE ORIGINAL DATE OF PURCHASE. YOUR PROOF OF PURCHASE OR SALES RECEIPT MUST ACCOMPANY ALL REQUESTS FOR WARRANTY COVERAGE.

    BASELAYER MAKES NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER. ALL IMPLIED, WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, EXCEEDING THE SPECIFIC PROVISIONS OF THIS WARRANTY ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED AND EXCLUDED FROM THIS WARRANTY.     No representative or other person is authorized to assume for BaseLayer any liability except as stated in this warranty. This warranty gives you specific rights which vary from state to state or from country to country.

Orders & Purchases

  • Can I ship my order to multiple addresses?
    Yes, during checkout you will be able to specify different shipping addresses for each product in your cart.
  • What happens if my shipment is delivered when I am not home?
    According to the shipping companies we use, your order will be placed in a safe location at your shipping address and does not require your signature to be delivered. If the driver determines there is no location to leave your package they will try to deliver it to you on another day.
  • What is an authorization hold?
    An authorization hold is when credit card and debit card issuers put a hold of the amount of the purchase approved by the cardholder, reducing the balance of available funds on your credit card until the transaction is cleared.
  • Why are there pending charges on my PayPal account when I didn't submit an order?
    Adding a payment method to an order may result in an authorization hold (please see authorization hold information above), even if the order wasn't submitted.
  • How will I know when my order ships?
    You will receive an email that includes a shipping tracking code and URL to see the estimated delivery date.
  • Does BaseLayer charge sales tax in every state?
    We charge sales tax on all orders shipped to locations in the state of Illinois.

  • Is there a shipping charge?
    BaseLayer offers free shipping on all orders over $25.00, excluding applicable taxes. 
  • Why does my order say it's been delivered when I haven't received it yet?
    Please call our Customer Service team at 888-716-3323 and they will research where your order is.

Returns & Exchanges

  • What is your return policy?
    All products must be returned in new, unused condition in their original box. Refunds will be given on merchandise returned in the same manner as originally charged less the cost of shipping. Products must be returned within sixty days of purchase date and credit will only be issued on items in new and unused condition. To start the return process, please call our customer care department at 888-716-3323, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm Central Time and Saturday, 10 am to 1 pm Central Time and they will issue you a Return Authorization Number.
  • Can I return Universal Cut-to-Fit Floor Mats that have already been cut?
    Unfortunately, once you have started to cut the floor mats, you can no longer return them.
  • How will I be refunded?
    BaseLayer will reimburse you for returned items in the same way you paid for them, once we receive them and confirm they are returnable.
  • When will I receive my refund?
    Once BaseLayer has received your return, we will process it within 15–20 business days. Depending on your bank's processing time, it may take up to 7 days after we process the return to reflect on your account.
  • How do I return an item that was purchased from Amazon.com or eBay?
    The Return policy and processes for purchases made from a BaseLayer, Salex Organizers, or Vehicle OCD Marketplace store at a third-party website (e.g., Amazon, eBay) are listed on those websites. Any products you purchase via a third-party vendor must be returned to that vendor and not directly to BaseLayer.
  • How do I return an item received as a gift?

    Promotions from BaseLayerlabs.com can only be applied to orders placed directly on BaseLayerlabs.com.

  • How do I apply a promotion code to my offer?
    In your cart, click the "Add Coupon" link. You will then be able to enter your coupon or promotion code.

Creating an Order

  • How do I add or remove items from my cart?
    To add an item to your shopping cart, click the orange ADD TO CART button located on the product page of the item you wish to buy. This item will automatically be added to your shopping cart once this button is selected.

    To remove an item from your cart, click the shopping cart icon found in the upper right corner of every page. A menu will appear displaying two buttons: CHECK OUT NOW, and VIEW CART. Select VIEW CART. On this new screen, you will be able to see all items currently in your cart. Use the “-” toggle button in the QUANTITY column to bring the quantity to zero. This will remove the item from your cart.
  • How do I check out?
    When you are ready to make a purchase, click the orange ADD TO CART button on the product page you wish to buy. This item will automatically be added to your shopping cart once this button is selected. Next, a screen will come up asking you to choose between three options featured in orange buttons: PROCEED TO CHECKOUT, CONTINUE SHOPPING, or VIEW OR EDIT YOUR CART. Click the PROCEED TO CHECKOUT button.

    Next, you will be directed to a screen where you can check out as a Guest or Create an Account. If you check out as a Guest, you will be able to save your details to create an account with us later. Enter in your email address, shipping address/information, billing address/information, select your method of payment and enter in the card information. Then, click the orange PLACE ORDER button.

    You will see a new screen with your order number for your reference, and will also have an opportunity to set up an account for faster checkout in the future.
  • How do I print a receipt for a BaseLayerLabs.com purchase?
    There are two options to print a receipt of your order. After you checked out and made a purchase, on the screen with your confirmation number, there is an order summary box just to the right of this. Select the PRINT button in the upper left corner of this order summary box. Additionally, shortly after you submit your order, an email order confirmation will arrive in your inbox, which you will be able to print.

Shipping Information

  • I received part of my order? Where are my other items?
    Due to the size, location and other variables of the items ordered, some orders may be shipped in multiple boxes.
  • Where can I ship my BaseLayer order?
    We deliver to any of the 48 states in the Contiguous United States (Lower 48 and Washington D.C.).
  • What does "estimated delivery date" mean?
    This is the date that we anticipate your order being delivered to the specified address. The actual delivery date may vary due to variables affecting the shipper such as weather, logistics issues, etc.
  • What carriers do you use?

  • Why was my BaseLayerLabs.com order delivered by an Amazon delivery truck?
    In order to have the quickest service available, we utilize Amazon Logistics to deliver orders received via all of our digital store channels. While most orders will be delivered by an Amazon marked vehicle, there may be circumstances that your order arrives in a different vehicle. That depends entirely on Amazon Logistics.
  • Where is my order?
    Your shipping confirmation email will contain package tracking information.

Payment

  • What payment types does BaseLayerLabs.com accept?
    We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal.
  • What should I do if BaseLayerLabs.com declined my payment?
    If your credit card is declined, the easiest thing to do is to complete your transaction with another payment method. You can then contact the issuing financial institution of the method of payment that was declined.
  • Does BaseLayer accept international payments?
    BaseLayer accepts payments only in US currency.
  • Does BaseLayer accept any cryptocurrencies?
    At this time we do not accept any cryptocurrency as a payment option.
  • Can I use more than one card payment type per order?
    BaseLayer accepts only one credit card payment per order.
  • When will I be charged for my order?
    Your account will automatically be charged at the time your order is submitted. For security reasons, BaseLayer does not keep your credit card on file. We create the authorization at the time of check-out.
  • If I use PayPal, when will my account be charged?
    The money is deducted at the time you place your order.
  • Does Baselayer price match?
    We do not price match any third-party resellers of BaseLayer items or competing products.
  • Do you offer financing for orders?
    During checkout you can select Pay Later, which is an installment payment option by PayPal.

    Floor mats can only be purchased in sets.

    At this time, they are only available on BaseLayerlabs.com, Amazon.com and other marketplace websites.
  • Where are BaseLayer Labs products manufactured?
    All of our products are proudly manufactured in the United States of America.
  • How are Custom Fit Floor Liners made?
    Design and manufacturing take place in the USA in our state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing facilities. Leveraging sophisticated and cutting-edge techniques, all of our floor mats are injection molded to offer unparalleled repeatability. This process maximizes the precision and quality of every product we sell.
  • What makes BaseLayer floor mat and liners’ materials unique?
    We use the best automotive grade eco-friendly Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE) and Thermoplastic Olefins (TPO) which results in products that are odorless and 100% recyclable.

    As a core component of our business strategy and operating procedures, we actively support programs that reduce our environmental impact and continually improve our environmental performance. Scrap generated during our production process is re-used, and therefore, our process generates very little waste. We meet or exceed applicable legal and other industry environmental practice requirements.

    Many of our competitors use rubber as a material and an antiquated compression mold process for manufacturing. The end result is an odorous, non-recyclable product that must either be burned in a special facility or dumped into a landfill. We have chosen an environmentally friendly manufacturing process and 100% recyclable material; what little manufacturing waste we have is recycled back into our product.
  • How are BaseLayer’s car organizer systems manufactured? 
    Two types of plastic (ABS and HDPE, high-density polyethylene) are used depending on the manufacturing method and application.
